Flat Top Reed begins Garden Groove Concert Series

Flat Top Reed

Get outside and groove this summer at the Garden Groove Concert Series at the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens, 641 Struthers Ave.

The series’ first concert will be from 4–7 p.m. Saturday, May 26, and features local favorites Flat Top Reed with Native American artist Dan “Rolling Bears” Quintana as the guest performer.

Along with music and dancing in the gardens’ amphitheater, there will be a beer garden with beer from Kannah Creek Brewing Co. and wine from Grande River Vineyards. Take a lawn chair or blanket for seating.

Cost is $10 per person and $8 for gardens members. Children younger than 12 get in free. Proceeds will support the gardens.

The series will continue with these performances:

■ Ralph Dinosaur, 7–10 p.m. Friday, June 22.

■ Miss Emily and Project Groove, 8–10 p.m. Saturday, July 28.

Organizers are finalizing acts for August.
