Viewers are judges in Delta ‘Blue Ribbon’ show and sale

You can be the judge this year at the Delta Fine Arts’ “Blue Ribbon” Fine Arts Exhibit and Sale.

There’s a twist to this year’s exhibit, that will open Wednesday, May 26, at the Appleshed Art Complex and Gallery, 250 S. Grand Mesa Drive, in Cedaredge.

Instead of having a judge and giving awards, Delta Fine Arts will sell blue ribbons to Western Slope organizations and individuals, prior to the show. Those who purchased ribbons can place them on the piece most liked.

Each blue ribbon costs $25. All proceeds from ribbon purchases will go to the artists. The exhibit runs through June 25.
