The concerts in this series will all performed in the Recital Hall of Colorado Mesa University’s Moss Performing Arts Center.

■ Wilson Duo — 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19.

■ Hojong Kim, cello, accompanied by Arthur Houle, piano — 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14.

■ JD Shaw, horn, accompanied by Arthur Houle, piano — 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4.

■ JB Scott and Lisa Kelly with Jazz Ensemble and Vocal Chords — 7:30 p.m. April 27.

A bassoonist and a percussionist will lead off the Music at Mesa Guest Artist Series.

The Wilson Duo will give a recital of pieces for bassoon and marimba at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, in the Recital hall of Colorado Mesa University’s Moss Performing Arts Center.

Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students.

The Wilson Duo’s members are Jacqueline Wilson, an assistant professor of bassoon and theory at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and Christopher Wilson, who is a percussion teaching assistant at the University of Northern Colorado, where he is pursuing his doctorate, according to a news release from CMU.
