Right to speak out

Right to speak out

Larchwood Inn hosted a party Wednesday to celebrate the right of a resident of a nursing facility to speak out against elder abuse. Residents came from facilities around the valley to participate in the national event. Dave Norman of the Area Agency of Aging and Marilyn Richardson, a state ombudsman (patient advocate in long-term care), also spoke at the event.
