The annual walk in support of the fight against MS took place in Grand Junction at Canyon View Park Saturday, May 2. Several teams were formed in effort to raised money for the cause. All proceeds benefit MS research.

Maverick Classic/MOG Fest

Two events, the Maverick Classic and the MOG Fest, attracted hundreds of visitors downtown April 25. Despite the rainy weather, people enjoyed watching the criterium race and browsing the popular bike and gear swap. All photos by Clinton “Buddy” Brown/Special To The Sentinel.

2015 March of Dimes BrewFest

The March of Dimes BrewFest took place at the Ale House Saturday night. Breweries that participated included Breckenridge Brewery, Palisade Brewery, Kannah Creek, SKA, Firestone Walker, Black Bottle, Stone Brewing Co., Rockslide and Bristol Brewing Co! All proceeds went to support the March of Dimes!

GJ Snowstorm April 16, 2015

An abnormally warm and dry spring took a 180-degree turn Thursday morning, as fat flakes of snow fell in the Grand Valley. The storm could dump more than a foot of snow in the Colorado mountains by Saturday. People bundled up and the plant life soaked up the much needed moisture.
