Must have previous oil field experience including treating and/or chemical truck delivery trucks with a minimum Class B CDL w/hazmat and tanker endorsements. Essential Duties and Responsibility: Perform sampling and field bottle testing at locations, including testing and working with chemical laboratory to define samples.Maintain inventory to meet customers’ and account rep needs.Work with oil that does not meet specifications including advising and providing proper remedies to correct issues.Rig up new injection points.Deliver chemicals and perform surveys to customer locations.Maintain documentation related to position.Supervise and assist assigned Treating/Delivery Truck drivers. Supervisory Responsibilities: Position will require daily oversight and direction to Treating/Delivery Truck drivers. Qualifications:  An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or police science, supplemented by advanced courses in police administration and considerable experience in law enforcement work, including supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer experience in handling personnel issues. This position includes patrol, meeting with citizens and administrative duties. The new Chief will also be supplied with a patrol car for Town related uses and must live within ten miles of Silt Town limits within six months of hire date. The department consists of a Chief, six full-time officers and one part-time administrative position. Pay range for this exempt, appointed position is $60,000 - $78,500 DOQ. The Town
offers a very competitive benefits package. Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of police experience including five years in a responsible command or

 The ideal candidate will have excellent written communication and telephone skills, excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Windows software, including Word and Excel, knowledge of the Internet sufficient to conduct searches for information, the ability to organize and manage litigation and investigation files, strong information management and analytical skills, the ability to work as part of a team or independently.    Experience working with people with disabilities and advocacy experience are preferred.  Experience working in a law office is also beneficial.  Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and experience working with people with disabilities would also be considered.  The closing date is Friday, March 17, 2017.
