Primary Function:

Duties/Responsibilities:

To perform the job successfully, an individual will:

 

Organize data and create tools such as charts, tables, or spreadsheets to make process & production data accessible to various departments according to needs. Develop presentations showing requested data. Create HMIs and databases for various departments using MS Access and SQL based on factory needs for increasing accessibility of production and QC data. Manage various internal data collection projects.

 

Review, revise, generate, and audit Standard Work documents (SOPs, PCPs, etc.) with internal and external teams.

 

Review processes for Cost of Production (COP) improvement and implement economic improvement programs. Perform efficiency and cost analysis on new or existing production equipment. Research and recommend new technologies or techniques to improve processes and products.

 

Collect materials, organize schedules, and officiate Six Sigma training programs with shop floor personnel and management. Train and educate management and shop personnel regarding analyzed data and recommend process changes. Develop, assist, and manage small-group process improvement teams in all areas of the facility.

 

Education Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (sporting goods experience preferred). Must have Six Sigma Black Belt certification with working knowledge of methodologies, and experience in training Yellow and Green Belt level operators. Advanced Excel, MS Access (including VBA programming), relational databases, SQL, and Minitab software knowledge. Knowledge of MRP & ERP.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Office of Respondent Parents’ Counsel invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Contract Social Worker. The Office of the Respondent Parents’ Counsel is implementing a Social Work Pilot Program in 3 judicial districts across the state of Colorado. The Pilot Program is modeled after a multidisciplinary approach to parent representation. The Contract Social Workers will be paired with Respondent Parent Counsel in Dependency and Neglect court cases. The Contract Social Worker will work as part of the legal team and will report directly to the assigned attorney on the case.

Responsibilities include communicating with the attorney on an ongoing basis, advocating for the expressed legal interest of the parent client, collecting relevant data, attending group and individual supervision, and providing ongoing clinical consultation to the attorney. This is a contract position that will receive clinical supervision from the Social Worker Coordinator. It is anticipated that the contractor will work 40 billable hours per week. The pilot program is expected to run for two years will the hope of expanding at the conclusion of the program evaluation. This would be a two year contract pending ongoing budget approval.  

DISTINGUISHING FACTORS The Contract Social Worker must have good advocacy, communication, and clinical skills, knowledge of child welfare systems, strong clinical background in mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, and family systems, and knowledge of current evidence-based practice. This is a contract position and does not include benefits. The Contract Social Worker will be required to carry Professional Liability Insurance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s degree (MSW) from a graduate social work program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
· Licensed social worker (LSW) or a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). Candidates would be considered for a contract if they are eligible for a LSW. The contract would be contingent upon licensure within 90 days.
 · At least two years of clinical experience with a preference in working with indigent populations.  
· A strong background in child welfare and knowledge of the child welfare system.
