Weichert, Realtors – Heiden Homes Realty recognizes top agents for July, 2017. Chris Pinson recorded the highest dollar volume in closings for July at Weichert, Realtors – Heiden Homes Realty.  Pinson tied with Melanie Heiden for the most closed transactions, and Kathy Tomkins had the most new listings.

Chris served in the military and government work in San Diego for 15 years and brings experience in home improvement and insight of property potential to Heiden Homes.

Pinson enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1999 and was trained in military aircraft maintenance. Five years later, he began work for the Navy as a civilian servant performing overhaul maintenance on military aircraft.

After renovating his own condo in Southern California, Chris became intrigued by the real estate business and changed his career path.  Returning to his home town to being his new career was an easy decision.

Chris and his wife Emilie were married in April.  The blended family includes four children:  Ella, Sadie, Leo and Wyatt.

Melanie worked in the food industry before meeting husband Trent Heiden, and later worked for Heiden Homes as a receptionist and administrative assistant. She worked for Lawson Products as a salesperson, where she was named rookie of the year in the region for 2007.  After leaving Lawson in 2013, she earned her Colorado Real Estate license. 

Melanie is a graduate of Fruita Monument High School and has two children, Chance—who will attend Colorado Mesa University this month in the engineering program—and Melody, an incoming sophomore at Grand Junction High School. Heiden is the daughter-in-law of owner and managing broker Toni Heiden and Toni’s husband, Michael Moran.  Melanie is married to Trent Heiden, who owns Arrow Peak Electric and is also a Realtor.  Trent has two children, Anthony and Janelle Heiden.

Kathy is a long-time Grand Valley resident who brings a wealth of construction and mobile home experience to the company.

She previously owned Manufactured Home Parts, a mobile home supply business established in 2000, and is an unlimited general contractor. She specialized in manufactured home sales and construction at Royal T’s Construction, LLC and she’s a licensed mobile home dealer. Tomkins previously owned a heavy equipment construction company for eight years and started a gravel pit in 1998. 

Tomkins has three children—Joe Tomkins II, DeDee Case (who owns a trucking company with husband Boone Case) and A.K. Weaver, who graduated from Fruita Monument High School.
