300 quilts to be displayed at Quilters’ Corner during shop’s 10th anniversary celebratio

Quilters’ Corner is celebrating its 10th year of piecing together quilters’ needs in the Grand Valley.

As part of the celebration, the store put together the show “Decade of Quilts” which will display more than 300 quilts made over the past decade by customers and students.

The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 26, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 27, at Two Rivers Convention Center, 159 Main St.

There will be door prizes both days.

The store also will give 10 handcrafted quilts to Latimer House as a “thank you” for years of community support.

Ticket are $3 in advance, $5 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Quilters’ Corner, 421 Colorado Ave., or at City Market stores.
