A Great Music Exchange to be in Fruita

Inspired by the local ski swaps where people buy, sell or trade winter recreational gear, musician and concert promoter James Williams wanted to host a similar event for music-lovers.

A Great Music Exchange will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, at The Muse, 126 S. Park Square, in Fruita.

Anyone interested is invited to bring CDs, records, tapes, instruments, amps, and other musical gear to sell or trade with other music fans.

Williams said all trades and sales will be left up to the involved parties. He just wanted to offer a venue where music fans could gather.

In addition to the exchange, the Muse’s regular inventory of music and instruments will be on sale.

People planning on bring a large inventory of things to sell or trade are asked to call Williams ahead of the event at 858-7675. There is no cost to participate in the exchange.
