Aaron Ralston featured at March Horse Expo

Aaron Ralston, a Western Slope horse trainer and the star of RFD-TV’s “The Ride, wih Aaron Ralston,” will be the headliner next spring for the Colorado West Paint Horse Club’s All Breeds Horse Expo.

The expo is scheduled
March 23 and 24 at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. Ralston will be offering colt-starting classes to those who make reservations in advance.

The expo will feature a “Stallion Alley” to showcase stallions from this region representing different breeds. There will also be a “Breed Alley” to highlight as many different breeds as possible, said Jerry Orth, one of the organizers of the event.

Additonally, there will be educational seminars put on by veterinarians, farriers and equine nutrition experts. Special emphasis will be on information for new horse owners.

The organizers are also seeking vendors and nonprofit groups that may want to have booths at the expo, Orth said.

To reserve a spot as a vendor or nonprofit group, or to sign up with Ralston, go to www. coloradowestpainthorse
