Six groups, including local band Ofay Soul, pictured, will be playing at the Food Bank Benefit at Boomers on Saturday, Oct. 18. Bring canned food donations and listen to music from 1–8 p.m. at Boomers, 436 Main St. Paul Harshman of Flat Top Reed plays at 1 p.m.; Cowboyz Attitude Band, 2 p.m.; Ofay Soul, 3 p.m.; Desert Moon Band, 4 p.m.; SwampCoolers, 5 p.m.; Flashback, 6 p.m.; and Terry McGovern Band, 7 p.m. For more information on the event, call 248-9022.
