12-week series continues

• J. Douglas Bottorff, minister of the Unity Church of Grand Junction, 3205 N. 12th St., continues his 12-week series of talks based on the recently released edition of his 1998 book “A Practical Guide to Prosperous Living.”
On Sunday, Bottorff will speak on Lesson 12, “Using Your Imagination.”
A book-signing session will follow the 10:30 a.m. service. Books are available to purchase in the Unity Bookstore.

New church to begin

• Familyroom Fellowship, a new multicultural church with contemporary-style worship, will begin Sunday worship services at 11 a.m. Aug. 2 at 502 W. Colorado Ave. in the Riverside area.
The new church features a praise band, fellowship and biblical messages by the pastor, Amani Bullock.
Dress is casual and all are welcome.
