College jazz quartet to follow tastings at Wine Country Inn

The Wine Country Inn in Palisade is the setting for the Mesa State College Faculty Jazz Quartets’ evening of jazz and wine.

The classy evening of entertainment is Saturday, Jan. 23. Wine tastings will be from 6–7 p.m. The concert, which will begin at 7:30 p.m., will feature jazz stands, Latin jazz and tunes from the bebop era.

The Wine Country Inn is at 777 Grande River Drive.

The Mesa State College Faculty Jazz Quartet is comprised by Sean Flanigan, trombone; Tim Fox, piano; Dennis Woodrich, bass; and Darin Kamstra, drums. Paul Schneider, Mesa State College professor emeritus, will perform as guest saxophonist

Cost is $45 and includes heavy hors d’ouevres and a full cash bar. Concert, wine and room packages can be purchased for $120 per person or $165 per couple. Space is limited and reservations are recommended.
