Group is for peripheral, idiopathic neuropathy
A new support group for people dealing with peripheral and idiopathic neuropathy meets the first Tuesday of every month at the Church of the Nativity, 2175 Broadway on the Redlands, across from Redlands Middle School.
Meetings begin at 1 p.m. and last for an hour or so, according to group organizers.
An estimated 20 million people in the U.S. suffer from damage to the peripheral nervous system — the vast network that transmits information between the brain and very other part of the body, according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Symptoms include numbness, tingling or muscle weakness.
