Low Vision Resource Fair in Junction and Montrose

The Center for Independence, 740 Gunnison Ave., announced that the Low Vision Resource Fair will be in Grand Junction on Wednesday and Montrose on Thursday.

The Low Vision Resource Fair is presented in association with Mesa County ADRC, Region 10 and Ensight Skills Center from Fort Collins.

It provides western Colorado residents living with vision loss, along with their friends, family, caregivers and eye care professionals, an opportunity to find out about low-vision rehabilitation and to see demonstrations of the latest adaptive technology devices for low vision.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 
4 p.m. Wednesday at the Center for Independence, and from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Montrose Events Center, 648 S. First St..

Separate morning and afternoon presentations about low-vision rehabilitation and senior-friendly smart technology are planned.
