KAFM fundraiser for DJ

A fundraiser for Zachariah Walker will take place from 6:30 p.m. to midnight Friday at the KAFM Radio Room.

Walker, who is known as Professor Skywalker on KAFM, recently was diagnosed with leukemia and completed his first round of chemotherapy. The fundraiser will help him with medical and living expenses, so he can focus on healing.

Flat Top Reed and Straygrass will perform, and Walker and disc jockeys Rankin Rob and Warrior One will DJ at the event. There will be a live and silent auction with 100 percent of proceeds going to Walker, and Sol Weavers will offer a healing fire performance.
