If you like chocolate and walking, you’ve got choices
Chocolate makes the holidays even better.
The Grand Junction Chocolate Walk will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11.
The historical walking tour of Main Street and Art on the Corner begins at Enstrom’s. Cost is $10 for ages 12 and older and includes a commemorative mug filled with hot chocolate for registered participants while supplies last.
The tour will be guided by staff with the Downtown Development Authority/Art on the Corner and the Museum of Western Colorado.

The Palisade Art and Chocolate Walk will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11.
The event will launch the town’s Olde Fashioned Christmas event, taking place through Sunday, Dec. 13.
Twisted Brick Studios, The Blue Pig Gallery, Tim Wedel Studio and Mumzel’s Art and Antiques will host free art receptions with chocolate treats.
The Palisade Cafe and Bar, Slice O’ Life Bakery and The Red Rose Cafe will feature special chocolate foods for customers.
For $5 per round-trip ticket, visitors can go from gallery to gallery on a covered surrey drawn by Percheron horses from Absolute Prestige Limo.
