In focus: CASA’s 2013 Dodgeball Tournament

Rick Dunlap, Montrose County sheriff and CASA of the 7th Judicial District board member, winds up to throw a dodgeball at CASA’s 2013 Dodgeball Tournament on Nov. 2 at Centennial Middle School in Montrose. Dunlap, who was dressed in old-style-prison-garb-meets-“Duck Dynasty,” and his team, “Sheriff’s Zebra Pack,” fell in the first round of the double elimination tournament to the “Firemen’s Heroes” sponsored by the Montrose Police Department. CASA volunteer and Mrs. International 2013 Amy Gregorio participated in a number of pre-dodgeball tournament activities, including the unveiling of a CASA-wrapped skid loader to kick-off a rental promotion by Black Dog Equipment of Montrose. Tim Frates Photography took this photo.

Miss Colorado United States Christian Schwiegerath congratulates winners of CASA’s 2013 Dodgeball Tournament “Silliest Costume Award,” which went “Who are we playing?” The team was sponsored by “some people who wanted to play dodgeball.” Tim Frates Photography took this photo.
