IntelliTec to host car show

Various antique, classic and new cars will be on display at IntelliTec College’s second Car Show and Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, on the college campus, 772 Horizon Drive.

The event will feature activities for all ages. Kids can jump in the bounce house and adults can line up to purchase raffle tickets in hopes of winning a new truck. The raffle is hosted by local 4-H club members.

Campus clubs — the Student Ambassadors, the American Medical Technologist Club and the Business League — will sell baked goods and more to raise money for club operations.

Hot dogs, chips and soda will be provided by the school.

IntelliTec College will pay tribute to National Guard Units from armories in Grand Junction and Montrose, during the show.

Career training programs, like the auto mechanic training program, will have exhibits or giveaways. There will be door prizes, music and entertainment, and tours of the campus will be available.
