RSSMesa County child hospitalized with influenza
A child has become the second Mesa County resident to be hospitalized with influenza this flu season.
The Mesa County Health Department announced the hospitalization Wednesday. An adult was hospitalized with influenza in the county in early October.
February is typically the height of flu season, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Vaccinations are still available in various locations in Mesa County.
