Popular Trail of Terror enters 10th year
Those who enjoy a good scare or scream will want to check out the Express All Stars haunted house, now in its 10th year.
The Express All Stars, a competitive cheer and dance team with girls from across the Grand Valley, stage the Trail of Terror haunted house annually to both raise money for the team and because it has become a popular Halloween activity in the area.
The haunted house opens at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8.
The team has built the haunted house inside the empty building at 601 Pitkin Ave., turning the open space into 35 rooms filled with 75 actors dressed up, hidden and ready to scare visitors.
Without giving too much away, this year’s haunted house features a pet cemetery, a haunted corn maze and surprises at nearly every turn.
Costs is $10 per person. Cash only.
Hours are 6 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
During Halloween week the haunted house will be open additional hours: from 6–10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Oct. 25–28; and 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 29–30. On Halloween, Oct. 31, the haunted house is open from 2–7 p.m.
