Bible study this week at Redlands church

Explorer’s Bible Study will begin Wednesday at Redlands Community Church, 2327 Broadway, with a study of the books of Judges and Kings of Israel.

All women are invited to the interdenominational group and child care is provided.

The study is from 9:30–11:15 a.m. Wednesdays through April, following the School District 51 calendar.

World’s wonders at Spiritual University


Spiritual University will offer “Exploring Great Geological Wonders, Expanding Eco-Theological Horizons” at its next term, taking place from 6:30–8 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 7–Oct. 12, at Episcopal Church of the Nativity, 2175 Broadway.

The seven-part DVD course features video of the world’s wonders, with lectures by geophysicist Michael Wysession, Ph.D, as well as discussions on relationship-based eco-theology with facilitator, Rev. Blaine Scott.

Spiritual University is in its sixth year as an ecumenical, interfaith project of progressive thought and learning. People of all faith traditions or none at all are welcome.
