Methodists to host Imani Milele Choir

Redlands United Methodist Church will host the Imani Milele Choir at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at the church,  527 Village Way.

“Imani Milele” is a Swahili phrase meaning “always believe,” and the choir sings songs that deliver that message, a news release said.

The choir is part of the Imani Milele Children’s organization that is serving more than 3,000 children in Uganda. Its purpose is to raise awareness about Uganda’s 3 million-plus orphans and vulnerable children who live without life’s most basic needs.

An offering will be taken.
