ShareFest 2014 will be May 3-4
ShareFest 2014 — a weekend of people from different churches and denominations in the Grand Valley coming together to serve the community — is planned for May 3–4.
During the past seven years, more than 50 faith-based organizations have participated in ShareFest, adopting entire neighborhoods and helping with yard clean-up, adopting a school and cleaning all the desks in the school, helping individuals — especially the elderly — by washing windows, turning mattresses, raking and weeding yards, and washing cars.
This year, a group is planning to make care packages for Colorado Mesa University students for finals week and quilters will work on lap quilts for residents in care centers.
If you know someone who could use some help, or if you are in need of assistant, go to http://www.gjsharefest.com and submit your need by April 21 or call 778-4880.
