Unity Grand Valley hosts guest speaker

Unity Grand Valley is a new church in Grand Junction celebrating its affiliation with Unity Worldwide Ministries.

The Rev. Scott Schell, from Columbine Unity in Lafayette, will be the guest speaker at 10:30 a.m. March 26, at the Redlands Community Center, 2463 Broadway. The service will include a love dove release.

Celebrate light, hope at St. Matthew’s

The public is invited to celebrate the return of light and the hope we have in Christ with a Vernal Equinox labyrinth walk at 5:30 p.m. Monday, at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 3888 27 1/2 Road.

All are welcome to walk and pray.

A labyrinth is an ancient practice of “Circling to the Center” and helps put one’s life in perspective, a news release said. It is meant to clear the mind and provide insight. Labyrinths have been in use for more than 4,000 years.
