Victory Life to have Pentecost Sunday

Victory Life Church will have Pentecost Sunday services at 
8:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, at 2066 U.S. Highway 6&50.

Guest speaker is Pastor Bobby J. Wilson from Pueblo. Free child care will be available for children from birth to 5-years-old.

HU Song event at Westwood Condos

 

The public is invited to participate in a Community HU Song event, sponsored by the Colorado Satsang Society, a chartered affiliate of Eckankar, from 4–4:30 p.m. Sunday, at the Westwood Condos Clubhouse, 636 Horizon Drive.

Participants will sing HU, an ancient name for God, for about 20 minutes. The event is for people of all faiths to enjoy together.

Patience class offered at Yoga West

 

“The Creativity of Patience,” a class in the Buddhist Psychology of Understanding the Mind series, will be offered from 1–2:30 p.m. today at Yoga West Collective, 1025 Main St.

Instructor Gen Losel, resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Colorado in Denver, will explain how to develop the quiet and powerful mind of patience.

Cost is $10 per class and $7 for students and seniors.
