Wear goofy costumes to Vineyard party
Vineyard Community Church will host a free harvest party from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday in the church parking lot, at 2711 Unaweep Ave.
There will be a chili dinner, games, fun and trunk or treat. Fun costumes are encouraged. Call 812-3113 for information.
Vineyard Community Church will also host a free seminar, “GriefShare How to Survive the Holidays,” from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 5 at the church.
The seminar is geared toward those in the community who have gone through loss or are dealing with grief.
“The upcoming months can be a difficult time of year, and the free seminar will provide advice and tips on how to navigate through the holiday season,” a news release said.
Training for inner healing is planned
Inner healing training through Bethel Sozo is planned Nov. 11–12 at Canyon View Vineyard Church Chapel, 736 24 1/2 Road. Sozo Regional Director Bill Kline will conduct the training, “for the purpose of rising up a volunteer Sozo team for our area,” a news release said.
The training will be the evening of Friday, Nov. 11, and all day Saturday, Nov. 12. Cost is $65 and includes a Sozo training manual. Registration is online through EventBrite.com. At the website, search “Grand Junction,” and under the events tab select “class,” then the Bethel Sozo Training Grand Junction option.
