Methodist church slates several events

Redlands United Methodist Church will have a potluck dinner followed by caroling and games beginning at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, at 527 Village Way.

At 6:45 p.m., the story of St. Nicholas will be portrayed by guest speaker Pierre Corbasson. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served.

Landmark Baptist to have musical Sun.

Landmark Baptist Church will present its annual Christmas musical presented by the adult choir and instrumental ensemble, drama team and the Master Club children singers, at 10 a.m. Sunday, at 2711 Unaweep Ave.

“Maranatha! The Lord is Come” tells the story of a person who recently learned he has a terminal illness.

Candle lighting to be on Christmas Eve

Unity Church will have a Christmas Eve candle lighting service at 7 p.m. Friday, at 3205 N. 12th St.

Church of the Nativity to have concert

Church of the Nativity will host “The Christmas Story: Nine Lessons and Carols” concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, at 2175 Broadway.

The holiday concert features a live chamber ensemble. Nursery services will be provided and a wine and cheese reception will follow.
