Seward County joins JUCO World Series field

Seward County (Kan.) Community College won the NJCAA Central District title and qualify for the Alpine Bank Junior College World Series.

The Saints (44-18) defeated Colby (Kan.) Community College 5-2 in the Central District championship game Monday afternoon in Wichita, Kan.

This is Seward County’s second appearance in the World Series. The Saints qualified for the first time in 2004.
