Fruita duo on All-SWL first team

The All-Southwestern League volleyball team was released on Monday.

Fruita Monument outside hitter Camille Kovach and setter Angela Archuleta were both selected to the first team.

Kovach had 329 kills this season, and Archuleta finished with 425 assists.

Central hitter Ashley Wells also made the first team.

The Warriors’ Kristina Lindsey and Mady Minzey were both selected to the second team.

Fruita’s Janine Kirtland and Grand Junction’s Capri Rino were both second team selections.

Durango’s Sloan Lovett was named player of the year and Durango’s Robin Oliger was coach of the year.
