■  Gavin Downey, a mechanical engineering student at Colorado Mesa University, was awarded a $2,000 scholarship from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado.

Little Daisies program begins May 2

Little Daisies, a parent-child program inspired by Waldorf Education, will begin May 2 at River Canyon School.

The class is open to children ages newborn to 5 years old, who are accompanied by an adult. The new session will meet from 9 to 
11:30 a.m. Fridays, May 2–23, and tuition is $75 per child.
