■ Delta residents Ashley Quinn and Adara Sandoval received associate’s degrees May 14 from Adams State University in Alamosa.

■ Cidney Fisk of Delta was awarded a $4,325 scholarship from Western Colorado Atheists and Freethinkers. Fisk will attend Denver University this fall seeking majors in political science and economics.

Practice tests offered for SAT and ACT

Students who want to warm up for their SAT and ACT exams are invited to take practice tests at the Central Library, Mesa County Libraries, 443 N. Sixth St.

The timed SAT prep test is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, and the timed ACT prep test is set for 1 p.m. Sept. 17.

Students taking either test should bring a calculator and a No. 2 pencil. There is no charge to take the practice tests.

Seating is limited, and pre-registration is required either online at the events calendar at mesacountylibraries.org or by calling 243-4442.
