■ Jayson Park of Paonia was named to the spring 2017 semester academic dean’s list at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California.
■ Svea Elisha of Grand Junction was named to the spring 2017 semester dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.
■ Dufford, Waldeck, Milburn & Krohn, LLP, awarded 2017 Dufford Waldeck 4-H Youth Scholarships to McKenna Young and Brooke Hahn to be used in their 4-H exhibit efforts at the upcoming Mesa County Fair.
The $150 scholarship proceeds are intended to assist the youth in funding the care and feeding of their animals, or the supplies needed for their 4-H project. Young’s project is market swine, and Hahn’s is poultry.
■ Kierra Hall of Fruita, a 2016 graduate of Palisade High School, was named to the spring 2017 quarter dean’s list at Savannah College of Arts and Design in Savannah, Georgia.
■ Sonda Hanosh of Grand Junction earned an education specialist in school psychology degree from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.
■ Area students were named to various honors/deans lists for the spring 2017 semester at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. They are Brittany Chlarson and Megan Wick of Cedaredge; Chance Davis of Clifton; Tylor Redden, Delta; Shelby Fredrickson, Fruita; Anne Stechert and Jessica Violett, Hotchkiss; Taylor Deskin, Natalii Gomez, and Cassidy Gray of Montrose; Laura Harju and Ashley Roper of New Castle; Juan Chavez, Olathe; and Taylor Plymale, Skylar Simpson and Alicia Wilmore of Paonia.
