■ Richard H. Wise, a 2015 graduate of Grand Junction High School, was named to the spring 2017 semester dean’s honor roll at the University of Wyoming.

■ Fruita Monument High School student Nate Williams completed the first month of his CareerWise Colorado apprenticeship with Hoptocopter Films, following a career path in technology.

■ Area students received degrees May 13 from Adams State University in Alamosa. From Collbran, Sarah McBroom, master’s in counseling, school counseling; Fruita, Jill Lloyd, master’s in counseling, school counseling; and from Montrose, Amber Bray, master’s in counseling, school counseling, and Kristi Edwards, master’s in counseling, clinical mental health.

Also, from Grand Junction, Michael Goe, master’s degree, Christopher Mack, master’s in counseling, school counseling, and Jenille Gudahl, Anna Hage, Hollie Jones, Kristin Malone, and Connie Mercer, all receiving master’s degrees in counseling, clinical mental health.

Nicholas Hill of Grand Junction received a bachelor’s degree in human performance and physical education sports management, and Shannon Rhodes of Whitewater graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s in psychology, clinical.
