■ David Webb of Fruita, who studies history at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, was named a Reach Your Peak scholar.

The scholarship is given to high-achieving, high-potential students and is funded by community donors.

■ Meghan Peters of Palisade was named to the spring 2013 semester dean’s list at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

■ Julia Stinson of Delta participated in the annual Engineering Scholars Program on the campus of Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Mich.

The weeklong program looks at different areas of engineering, including mechanical, computer, environmental, electrical, chemical, biomedical, civil, geological and materials.

School supplies being collected

Roman Family Chiropractic is sponsoring a new school supply drive through Aug. 30.

Those who donate new school supplies can receive a complimentary initial office visit or $10 off a one-hour massage.
