Preferred career: Music educator.
Greatest achievement so far: Placing as first chair bassist at Western States Honor Orchestra.
What you’d like your next greatest achievement to be: Becoming a world-class musician and conductor.
Q: What has been your favorite high school class so far and why?
A: Chemistry. It was a tough class, but I really enjoyed the teacher, and he had chemistry demos every Friday. That was definitely an incentive to go to class.
Q: What do you do for fun when you’re not in class?
A: Hang out with friends and play Ultimate (Frisbee).
Q: What’s the best advice a teacher, coach or parent ever gave you?
A: Always be an overachiever. Never see how little you can do and get away with.
Q: What will you miss the most about your school after graduation?
A: All of my friends and family.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
A: Play music and conduct an orchestra.
Q: If you could spend this summer anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: I would go to Scotland and play my bagpipes at the College of Piping.
