Personal hero and why: Isaac Lavadie. He taught me that morals always take preference to attaining accolades, and he has been the perfect example of what a leader should be.

Preferred college: Brigham Young University

Preferred career: Doctor

Greatest achievement so far: Third-place finish of the academic team at the National Tournament of Academic Excellence.

What you’d like to be your next greatest achievement: Making the BYU drumline or the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps.


Q: What has been your favorite class in high school and why?

A: Advanced Placement Art History because you learn the history of the world reflected through a culture’s art. Also, I went to Paris and England last summer and I knew so much about the many works in the museums.


Q: How do you prepare for a big test?

A: Study group with friends.


Q: If you could have your pick of service projects, who would you help and how?

A: I would help kids who are struggling in school either through tutoring or study groups.


Q: What does it say under “interests” on your Facebook page?

A: Telemark skiing, drumline, DCI, college football, ponies, trance.


Q: What’s the best advice a teacher, coach or parent has ever given you?

A: A man is measured based on what he gives, not what he has.


Q: Where would you like to be in 10 years?

A: CU Medical School.
