Road closures and maintenance projects may affect traffic this week:
■ Ute Water Waterline Replacement Patterson Road: Traffic will be reduced to one lane each direction along Patterson Road from 28 to 28 1/4 road sbetween the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, for four weeks.
■ 22 Road Realignment Project: This project is reconstructing one-third of a mile of U.S. Highway 6 between Valley Court and the Exit 26 Interchange. The new intersection will move 500 feet west of its existing location to improve safety and efficiency. A new connecting street will be built linking Valley Court to 22 Road.
There will be lane shifts in the work area during the daytime. Traffic will move to the outside edges of the road, but two lanes of traffic will be maintained in either direction. Speed limits in the work zone are reduced to 35 mph.
■ Fourth Street Reconstruction: Traffic will be reduced to one lane southbound. The intersection of Fourth Street and White Avenue access will be limited. Detours will be marked.
■ Sixth Street Reconstruction: Sixth Street between Grand and Ouray avenues will remain closed to all traffic for the next two weeks.
■ White Hall Demolition: Sixth Street between Grand and White avenues will be closed to all traffic as well as White Avenue between Seventh and Sixth streets from 7 a.m.—4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
■ Street Striping: City striping crews will be out striping the following streets: Horizon Drive from H Road to Seventh Street; 12th Street from Horizon Drive to Gunnison Avenue; Seventh Street from Horizon Drive to North Avenue and from Grand Avenue to Ute Avenue.
