Udall to visit fish recovery program

GRAND JUNCTION — U.S. Sen. Mark Udall is visiting the Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Program.

The historic Grand Valley Diversion Dam at the site is one of only four such dams in the country.

The program is aimed at protecting endangered fish recovery and water development.

The program is a partnership between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Reclamation, and state and local interests.
