Veteran singer Bryan Adams to play Avalon show
Chances are, you have heard a Bryan Adams song through the years.
Whether it is a song from a movie soundtrack or a tune on the radio. Adams’ music has been well-played and widely listened to for decades.
At http://www.bryanadams.com, an alphabetical list of the songs Adams has recorded numbers at more than 200.
But it’s hard to pick which one might be most famous. There is the popular “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You,” which likely was played at every prom or junior high dance in the 1990s. Or there are the popular tunes “Summer of ‘69” or “Cuts Like A Knife.”
Fans of Adams or people interested in acoustic shows will want to catch his Grand Junction show at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Avalon Theatre, 645 Main St.
A limited number of tickets still are available for the show. Tickets cost $52 for the main floor or $44 for the balcony and can be purchased at http://www.ticketswest.com.
The Canadian-born singer/songwriter has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide, released 21 top 10 hits and earned three Academy Award nominations.
His latest CD, “Bare Bones,” came out Nov. 1. It includes acoustic versions of some of his most famous songs as voted on by his fans.
