“The Grand Mesa Sweet Adelines Chorus gave retiring director Tammy Schler a heartfelt send-off during its performance at the botanical gardens on June 28,” wrote Bette Lowenstein. On behalf of the chorus, Claudia McFate presented Tammy with 16 roses, one for each year she directed the chorus. This photo was taken by Deanna Mitchell.



“I took this picture of a curious beaver swimming up a little too close for comfort to our 7-year-old papillon, Abby, on a June camping trip, Lake Bonham on the Grand Mesa,” Melanie Wiseman wrote.
