Members of Girl Scout Troop 2214 from Holy Family Catholic School collected gently used prescription glasses and cases for a community service project they called “Girls for Glasses.” They donated hundreds of glasses to the Fruitvale Lions Club, which will have them cleaned, refurbished and sent all over the world to those in need.
