Three members of Troop 386 have earned their Eagle Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America. Michael Gebhard, Dallin Wright and Taylor Nielson will be honored in the Court of Honor at 5 p.m. Sunday at the LDS Redlands Chapel, 2235 Kingston Road.
Eleven members of the Grand Valley Children’s Choir were chosen to participate as singers or alternatives in the Southwestern Division American Choral Directors Association’s Grades 4-5-6 Treble Honor Choir that will perform at the association’s convention February 24-27 in Denver. Davis Devereux, Randy Gilbert, Maddie Goodman, Kaila Harward, Kaitlyn Jackson, Alexys Logsdon, Madison Markakis, Kate Olsen and Issac Winslow will sing with the choir and Nic Morrow and Max Solko were chosen as alternatives.

Around Sidebottom are her daughter Virginia Mertens, granddaughter Pam Renfro, great-granddaughter Misty Doussa and great-great-granddaughter Brianna Doussa. This photo was taken in July in Dodge City, Kansas, where all but Mertens are from.
Yzavel Esparza, 4 months, visited her great-grandmother, Orlinda Aragon, before Christmas. “She (Yzavel) was so happy. I put her down under the X-mas tree,” Orlinda wrote.
