Your typical non-native Coloradoan, I grew up in Chicago, went to college in New Orleans, and moved to Denver as a journalist covering the broadband internet industry in 2001. After joining the staff of the Summit Daily News in Frisco in 2005 — first as a copy editor, next as a reporter, and finally as the News Editor — I joined the Daily Sentinel newsroom as an assistant editor in 2007.
