2 Meeker Cowboys in wrestling semfinals

Meeker High School had two of its four quarterfinal contestants advance to the Colorado State Wrestling Championships semifinals. J.C. Henderson, T.J. Shelton and J.R. Crawford were victorious, while Aaron Cochran and J.R. Henderson lost their second round match.

The semifinals begin this evening at 7:15 p.m. For those who were defeated in the quarterfinals, they now move to the consolation bracket with the opportunity to finish as high as third place. The tournament continues through Saturday evening in Denver at the Pepsi Center.
