RSS70 shave heads for cancer research
Harriet Carmine holds her two braided pigtails Saturday afternoon as barber Shad Allerheiligen shaves her head as part of a St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser at Naggy McGee’s Irish Pub in Grand Junction. Her hair will be given to Locks of Love for cancer patients who lose their hair during chemotherapy. Carmine, who lost her son to cancer, was the top fundraiser, taking in more than $2,000 for childhood cancer research. She was one of 70 people who had their heads shaved at the event.

Shavees may continue to raise funds and register them directly on http://www.stbaldricks.org/events/GrandJunction until the end of the calendar year. Donations to St. Baldrick’s (or to individuals) may be made and registered there at any time by anyone wishing to donate.
If you see a BEAUTIFUL freshly shaved BALD head or someone wearing an “Ask Me Why I’m Bald Button” ask them about St. Baldrick’s and DONATE please if you can.
