Go to Gateway Canyons Classic Auto Fest

The Gateway Canyons seventh annual Classic Auto Fest offers something for everyone, and it can be on the casual side or with a touch of flare.

The Gateway Canyons Car Show will be on display from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Gateway Canyons Resort in Gateway. Tickets to the show are $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. Advance tickets can be purchased at City Market stores prior to the events.

The show features vendors, a beer garden, food and live music. Tickets includes admission to the Gateway Colorado Automobile Museum.

There will be a face painter and balloon artist for the kids and David Starr will perform from 3–5:30 p.m. on the terrace.

Those looking for little flare can attend the Classic Opening Celebration featuring a cocktail reception from 4–7 p.m. Friday, May 11, in the auto museum.

The event includes a silent action to benefit Mesa County Partners, wine from Jeff Gordon’s winery, vintage race and high-end cars on display and more.

Tickets are $55 for the cocktail reception and meet-and-greet.

Following the Gateway Canyons Car Show on Saturday there will be a silent auction for Partners at 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. The guest speaker will be Oliver Kuttner, founder and chief executive officer of Edison2. Tickets for the evening are $75 per person.

Tickets for both the Classic Opening Celebration and Silent Auction and Dinner are $125. The packages allows complimentary admission to the car show.
