81 artists have variety of works in valleywide studio tour

Ride a bike or drive a car — no matter how you choose to take in the spring Open Studio Tour, the welcome mats have been set out for you.

The fifth annual tour features 81 notable artists from Fruita to Palisade, who will open their doors to the public to view and purchase their artwork.

There will be photography, painting, jewelry, ceramics and more.

The tour will go from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 14, and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 15.

In Grand Junction: Coffee Muggers, The Art Center, Hang Ups, Planet Wines, Today’s Home, 7th Street Deli, Planet Earth, KJCT8, Main Paige, Raw Canvas Gallery, Main Street Bagles, Pablo’s Pizza, Grand Junction Visitor and Convention Center, Home Again, Crossroads Fitness and Girlfriends.

In Fruita: Fruita Chamber of Commerce, Fruita City Hall and Camilla’s Kafe.

In Palisade: Twisted Brik Sudios, The Blue Pig Gallery, Palisade City Hall and Parker Pottery.
