Abortion group gives maximum donation to Bennet

DENVER — The nation’s best-known abortion-rights advocates have given the highest possible contribution to Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet.

NARAL Pro-Choice America announced today that its political action committee has donated $5,000 to Bennet, who supports abortion rights.

Bennet’s opponent, Republican Ken Buck, opposes abortion even in cases of rape and incest, though he’s said he would not impose his views on others by trying to ban the procedure.

NARAL’s contribution is the maximum allowed by a political action committee to a candidate.
