Allegiant’s campaign tour visited GJ
No matter who wins the upcoming election, one lucky person is going to spend the next four years flying for free with Allegiant.
The “Vote For Vacation” tour visited Mesa Mall Tuesday morning giving the public a chance to register to win two free roundtrip tickets to any Allegiant destination and into the nationwide grand prize drawing of two free tickets monthly for the next four years.
“It’s just a spoof on the election,” said Carl Zablotny, public relations manager for Allegiant, “ We wanted to make a personal appearance to our constituents.”
Allegiant also awarded the first 100 visitors a tax break voucher for $21.60, the amount of federal taxes owed on each roundtrip ticket purchased in the future.
Just before departing mid-morning, Allegiant picked local Grand Junction resident, Sarah Reed, as the winner of the roundtrip tickets.
Absentee ballots for the grand prize can be cast at http://www.vote4vacation.com.
The “Vote For Vacation” tour will be in Colorado Springs Wednesday morning. The tour will visit 77 cities nationwide that are served by Allegiant.
